Bring your class to The Learning Zoo for one of our hands-on tours! 

Students will be given a guided tour of the zoo, including our Petting Zoo, Tortoise Feeding Yard, and a Reptile Encounter featuring some of our snakes, small mammals, and other amazing creatures from inside our Reptile House!​

• A 30 minute hands-on Reptile Encounter with 4 animals​

• The opportunity to explore our zoo without any other visitors present, just your field trip!

• Enjoy our Reptile House, Petting Zoo, Walk-in Aviary, and more!

• Food for the Petting Zoo, Tortoises, and Aviary Birds

• Dedicated staff to help answer questions and direct your group

Pricing for Field Trips

• 1 1/2 Hour Field Trip for up to 25 students & 15 adult chaperons - $350 

• Field trips are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and some Thursdays during the school year. 

• $50 deposit will be required upon booking

• Additional students are $12 each, and additional adults are $6 each

When classes come to our zoo for field trips, we want each and every student to have the unique opportunity for an up-close, personal interaction with our ambassador animals. For that reason, we are able to accommodate a maximum of 80 students at a time.

Please Note: We have 1 toilet for use. Please take this into consideration before arrival. We do not have the means to accommodate each student using the restroom on arrival and before departure.
