Bring the whole family out to explore our zoo, meet amazing animals from around the world, and even take your picture with a python or pony! ​ Move at your on pace as you feed tortoises, play with our friendly petting zoo pals, and check out the inhabitants of our Reptile House! ​ Reptile Shows will be happening throughout the day, as well as other special encounters! ​ Tickets must be purchased for all guests over the age of 12 months. Tickets are $10 per person when purchased online, and $12 at the door. Feed Packs can be purchased for $10 to feed tortoises, petting zoo, and aviary. Outside food for animals is not permitted. ​ Feed cups can be purchased in the gift shop if you wish to feed our hungry tortoise herd, petting zoo pals, and aviary friends!
Toddler Time
Toddler Time is designed for children ages 5 and under to explore the zoo at their own pace! Bring your little ones to feed a tortoise, touch a snake, watch our birds, and play with our petting zoo pals! There is a set number of tickets available for each event, and when they are gone, they are gone. Walk-ins will not be able to purchase tickets if the stock has sold out. Thurs. Dec. 18th & Fri. During the school year, homeschoolers from all over the Houston area come to The Learning Zoo to bond over their shared excitement for nature and science! Each of our Homeschool Days has a theme and special activities geared towards ages 6-12. Complimentary Craft and Scavenger Hunt is provided. Tickets are $8each. Each guest over the age of 12 months will need to purchase a ticket. Both adults and students will require a ticket for entry. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Walk-ins will not be able to purchase tickets if the stock has sold out. Members: Free Event is held outdoors. Shoes are required. Pets must be left at home. Feed for the animals can be purchased in the Gift Shop for $10. Feed brought from home is prohibited. Homeschool Events
Mommy & me
$15/guest will include admission, (1) family feed pack per family, and (1) Excavation Kit per child. Each attending guest over the age of 12months will require a ticket. Members: $12ea Tickets must be purchased in advance. Choose if you would like to come from our morning session 10am-Noon or our afternoon session Noon-2PM. Please arrive on time. Petting Zoo, Aviary, Tortoise Gardens, and Reptile House will be open during normal zoo hours, 10am-2pm.
