Don't Worry... Be CAPPY!

We offer unforgettable, hands on capybara encounters, just minutes outside of The Woodlands. Join one of our zookeepers as you meet Honey and Westley, our friendly capybaras!

Pet, Feed, and Photograph the world's largest rodents as you make memories that will outlast any selfie!

Requirements:

• Minimum age is 6 and up

• Children under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult

• Guests must wear closed-toed shoes, each guest will be required to step in a disinfecting foot bath before entering the exhibit

• All guests will need to purchase admission to the zoo for that date separately.

Encounters are $40 per person with a max of 4 people at a time. 

​

Encounters last 15-20min, depending on animal participation. All guests MUST be capable of sitting for 20min, following verbal directions, and respecting the capybaras and staff.​

Encounters are offered Thursday- Sunday, at 11am & 1pm. Please arrive  10min before your scheduled encounter time and report to the Gift Shop to meet your Tour Guide.
