Ages 6-8

Join us at 

The Learning Zoo

for Winter Fun!

A week of animal-centered activities,

holiday stories, crafts, and more.


Limited to a total of 8 campers, we'll break into smaller groups to:


  • pet and hold a variety of kid-friendly animals  

  • prepare zoo food

  • hand feed small and gentle animals

  • create enrichment games for our ambassador animals

  • explore conservation options for children

  • read holiday animal stories and work on related projects


Open to ages 6-8, our camp will give your animal lovers 

a special way to celebrate the Holidays!

Campers will need:


  • close-toed shoes

  • water bottles

  • to be able to wear masks for inside activities

All supply fees are included in the camp price.


Note:  This is a 4-day camp,

with no camp on Friday, December, 24, Christmas Eve.

Winter ZooKeeper Kamp 
Ages 9-11

Join us for Winter Zookeeper Kamp

December 27-31, 2021

Campers will receive personalized instruction in animal husbandry, and spend their mornings caring for our reptiles, mammals, birds, and more!


Each morning campers will work as a team to:


  • feed and care for a variety of kid-friendly animals

  • learn about the conservation mission of modern zoos 

  • prepare food

  • feed animals

  • clean enclosures

  • create conservation-based projects to protect our planet

  • prepare enrichment activities for our ambassador animals

  • share their experience as tour guides 


Open to ages 9-11, our camp will give your animal lovers an experience they will remember forever!

Monday through Friday

9 am to 12 pm


Instructor:  Head Zookeeper, Drew Schulz



Campers are required to be able to lift 20 pounds, follow directions and obey safety rules, and safely work around non-venomous reptiles, farm animals, and small, delicate animals such as insects and birds.  Masks are required for indoor activities.

Note:  This is a 5-day camp,

with Camp ending at Noon on Friday, New Year's Eve.
